CLOSET

2012 / CLOSET / San Salvador, El Salvador / National Theatre of El Salvador

A fourth, a single door. No mirrors. Windowless. Three settees, a statue and a knife. Two women and an absent man, the door is locked out, all waiting to be tortured, but no torturer appears. The important thing is not to win is to make the other lose. They can't look at eachother and they can't live without each other. Hell is here, hell is other people.

Adaptation of Hui Clos by Jean-Paul Sartre

Directed by César Pineda
