RED ALMODÓVAR

A new work in development with Gina Tay Limpus.

Drawing on Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar’s filmography, particularly his exploration of the power, vengeance, pain and passion of the colour red in relation to the women whose stories he tells, RED ALMODÓVAR is a body-led investigation of gendered power dynamics and the inherent biases of male-dominated storytelling across Australia and El Salvador.
